SunGard Delivers Log and Threat Management Service Along With Managed Security Services

SunGard Availability Services, a disaster recovery services provider, yesterday declared that it has extended its Managed Security Services portfolio with improved Log and Threat Management Services framed to protect networks and mission-critical information from security thefts and hacks.
The company says that Internet-based software have become ordinary even in more well-known organizations. With the increase in online business trade, however, the business risk related to electronic threats has also grown, making data security of prime importance to IT and business unit leaders. The company has extended its Managed Security Services to support organizations meet these challenges.
It mentions that the Log and Threat Management Services, a portion of the complete set of company's production services, offer clients more options to support them meet compliance requirements and run their business confidently. Log and Threat Management Services are delivered via a collaboration with Alert Logic:
- Alert Logic Threat Manager automatically determines malicious behavior and doubtful network patterns generating from both inside and outside of a client's network.
- Alert Logic Log Manager gathers and archives log information on events appropriate to users' security while ActiveWatch and LogReview, offer expert human analysis, review and understanding on real-time security threats and notifications.
