Google Chrome Becomes Third Most Popular Web Browser
02 August 2011
Google Chrome has become world's third most famous web browser having one of five users recommending it. Google Chrome is also considered as Britain's second most famous web browser, moving aside Mozilla's Firefox and affecting Microsoft's Internet Explorer, the current leader.
Chrome claims 22 percent of the British web market, against 45 percent of users who promote IE. Apple's Safari was at the fourth place with 9 percent share. However experts stressed on IE's market share falling down although the programme is already pre-installed on almost all the computers sold in Britain, as shown in The Telegraph reports.
Google states its renewed popularity can be interpreted with its speed of delivery outcomes, its safety and a new advertising campaign. Lars Bak, the Google engineer liable for Chrome, situated in the Danish countryside, said the company's goal was speed. He said users should "never be happy" with the current speed.
