China's Defense Minister Rejects Cyber Attacks Accuse

On Sunday, the defense minister of China refused to admit that Beijing was responsible for cyber attacks on foreign targets and said even the country was a prey of Internet hackers.
Liang Guanglie, the defense minister of China, said to a Singapore security forum, "It is hard to attribute the real source of attacks and we need to work together to make sure that this security problem won't be a problem. Actually in China we also suffered quite a wide range (of) and frequent cyber attacks. The Chinese government attaches importance also on cyber security and stands firmly against all kinds of cyber crimes. It is important for everyone to obey or follow laws and regulations in terms of cyber security." He united calls for worldwide coordination to cope up with cyber security.
The US and Britain called Saturday for worldwide cooperation against threats to cyber security after a new stream of attacks on government and corporate targets. Few days ago, Google made a statement that a cyber spying campaign, started in China, had aimed Gmail accounts of senior US officers, military people, journalists and Chinese political activists.
On Thursday, China claimed it was "unacceptable" to accuse it for operation.
On Friday, US aerospace company Boeing made a statement on the Singapore conference that it was under constant cyber attack but there had been no violation of its databases.
