Facebook Has 700 Million Users Worldwide

Facebook user count have reached about 700 million globally by the end of May, in which the developing countries contribution is maximum, as per the statistics present in Social Bakers website. "Facebook is still on the rise...Number of its total users is closing in to 700 million users."
The five developing countries, including Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Mexico and Argentina, each has contributed higher than 1 million new users to Facebook in May. India is on the 6th position, offering 918,140 new users last month and a total of 25.77 million users from the country.
Brazil was the best performer whose contribution was 1.95 million new Facebook users in May and thus the total reaches 19.09 million. It is followed by Indonesia with 1.59 million new users, the Philippines (1.33 million), Mexico (1.11 million) and Argentina (1.06 million).
The reports suggests Facebook users can probably reach 1 billion by 2012. Last July, Facebook founder told, after his site reached 500 million users, that it is not possible for a social networking website to reach 1 billion.
In first quarter of 2011, Facebook moved further suddenly from 585 million to more than 665 million members. There were about 80 million new users in 3 months.
Apart from this, the top ten list involves Colombia, Egypt, Turkey and the UK.
