Mumbai Based 21 Year Management Student Working On New Social Networking Website

A 21 year old management learner , after getting inspiration from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, is on an inspiring goal of creating his own social networking website. A Mumbai based student, Rahul Khanna, has united with some of his college collegues and is in the path of launching a new social networking website that will attempt to "fill in the gap left by existing networks."
He said, "To be honest I was inspired by Facebook. One day when we were accessing Facebook during the exam time and nothing fruitful came out..thats when I felt why don't we fill in the gap and try to take social networking to a new level."
The new social networking website, viz. socheers.com, was publicly announced in beta mode (testing phase) around 3 months ago. Rahul has registered a self sponsored company named Socheers Infotech Private Limited along with 7 others and is thinking of officially launch the site in approximately 2 months by now.
Being the head of marketing and strategy for the company, Khanna states the website already have 18,000+ registered users. The new website of Khanna undergone with an accident that is remarkably similar to Facebook which succeeded in defeating the Harvard University server during its first introduction.
He added, "After we went live, word spread fast. The shared server we rented in Australia could not cope with the incoming traffic and had to shut down all the sites hosted on the server. We are now moving to a dedicated server in Nasik."
Khanna, a Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) university student, stated "We have not done any promotions so far. First, we want to concentrate on the user interface and features."
Apart from the ordinary social media features such as the status update and sharing, the website have features including the "jukebox" that allows you to fetch music your friends like and regional language chat. It even allows you to upload and share files and post videos.
Khanna stated, "Soon a new feature which has to do with women and fashion will also be added to the site. This will be a compelling reason to be on socheers.com."
