Facebook Refused To Partner With Google

Eric Schmidt, Google's Executive Chairman, stated Google Inc made an attempt to collaborate with Facebook but was repelled, refusing the search giant to the social network's trove of personal information.
Schmidt didn't determined anything regarding the deal that he was talking about but, however, said that Google's search might be improved by Facebook's data access regarding Web surfers' friends and acquaintances.
He said, "We tried very hard to partner with Facebook. They were unwilling to do the deal." Later on, Facebook officially partnered with Microsoft.
When talking at the D9 conference conducted by AllThingsD blog, he stated that Google recently extended their partnership with Apple to deliver Google map technology on iPhone.
As an old member of Apple board, Schmidt confirmed their relationship roughness since Google started making its own Android smartphone OS, in spite of being a good partners in certain businesses.
Being a Google CEO for 10-year until April 2011 and giving the control to 38-year-old Google co-founder Larry Page, Schmidt is one of those few tech industry executives elected to utter at the conference, scheduled this week at an upscale resort in Southern California.
The other spokesmans include the chief executives of the Walt Disney Co, Hewlett-Packard, Twitter, Zynga, Groupon and Alibaba.
