Google And Yahoo To Invest On Indonesia

This Wednesday, Indonesia's investment chief Gita Wirjawan spoken to the Bisnis Indonesia newspaper stating that Google Inc, Yahoo Inc and miner Peabody Energy are looking for investments in their country. According to the newspaper, Wirjawan didn't gave more details or amount of the possible investments.
Last year, Yahoo purchased Koprol, Indonesia's location based social media platform identical to Fourquare. According to a tweet on Twitter by stock exchange executive on Tuesday after meeting Google representatives, Google will be opening an office in Jakarta.
World's fourth biggest population stays in Indonesia, among which 45 percent of its 240 million population lies under 25. Indonesia has the second highest number of users of Facebook.
Foreign direct investment jumped in Southeast Asia's largest economy this year, driven by a consumer market growth, ample of resources and political stability, although so far U.S. companies have fallen behind investment from Asian manufacturing companies.
